I took my son to get a donut and ride his bike at the park down the road a few weeks ago. There was no bike riding to be had, but he did really enjoy sitting and watching the families interact on the playground. Life with a toddler allows you to people-watch freely. Sometimes you even have to narrate the events around you for your child, as they are still trying to ground themselves on this planet and are quite curious.
